Bigwood’s Third Hole

The third hole has panoramic views of Sun Valley’s Bald Mountain, the Boulders and Galena.  This location can accommodate a wedding of any size, from 50 to 400 guests.  Your wedding planner will work with local providers to fulfill every conceivable need, from your catering desire to reception tents for dinner and dancing.  The ceremony can be arranged so your guests are looking right at Bald Mountain to the South, or at the Boulders to the North.

Bigwood’s Sixth Hole and the Bigwood Grill

When you choose Bigwood’s sixth hole, your ceremony will take place on the sixth fairway with direct views of Sun Valley’s Bald Mountain and surrounding mountains.  After your picture-perfect ceremony, your guests can move either to the Bigwood Grill for smaller wedding receptions (maximum 70 guests), or to a larger tent for larger wedding parties.  The Grill sits just steps away from the ceremony site, making the transition to your reception seamless.  The Grill is a full service restaurant and bar operated by Hank Minor, owner of Apple’s Bar & Grill, one of the top catering choices in Sun Valley.  If you choose to work with a different caterer, the Grill will turn the kitchen and bar over to the provider of your choice, making it your own private restaurant for your most special evening.

Not only is the Bigwood Grill the perfect location for your reception after hosting your ceremony on the sixth hole, but it can also be reserved for your rehearsal dinner, opening night cocktail party or special dinner party for select guests.  The Bigwood Grill is the ultimate outdoor restaurant with an unparalleled setting overlooking the Bigwood Golf Course.  It has phenomenal views of Bald Mountain and all the surrounding mountain ranges.  The Bigwood Grill is a full service restaurant and bar, specializing in fresh fish and Idaho favorites.
